"ECCOLOGY" was uploaded to Ecco2K's Soundcloud account as a free direct download. The track is an instrumental produced by Ecco2K with no vocals. In style, it features some qualities of Video Game Music with it's synthetic and minimal instrumentation; it is comparable to other cloud rap beats from around 2013 that combined this palette with trap-inspired drum programming.
ECCOLOGY features a sample of a Japanese woman's voice before the beat-drop, the source of which is unknown.
