The Castle Hoodie is a piece of Drain Gang Merchandise, released on March 20, 2018.
Release
The Castle Hoodie released on March 20, 2018, via the Drain Gang Tumblr webstore. Though, due to a technical flaw, some users were able to access the webstore early via mobile devices, leading to the Castle Hoodie selling out right before the official release time.
Soon after the release, Bladee hinted at a restock of the hoodie, though so far, the March 20 release remains the only time the Castle Hoodie was up for sale.
Design
The Castle Hoodie is a custom blue blank, with red stitching, and an oversized fit. The front of the hoodie features three castles from the flag of Gibraltar, which have been slightly altered to feature the Japanese words "土雨", roughly translating to "soil and rain", likely meant to signify "Rainworld". What is most notable about the Castle Hoodie, is that a second front design is hidden underneath the panel of fabric which features the castles design. This gave the opportunity for owners to cut out, or cut patterns into the first layer of fabric to reveal the second "Drain Star" design.
The back of the hoodie features the "D-9" design which was present on all recently released Drain Gang clothing at the time, such as the D9 Resort 17 Tee and Strawberry Alien Tee (Red), though with the addition of a white Drain Gang logo. The Castle Hoodie is the last article of Drain Gang Merchandise release to feature this design.
Impact
Due to a limited and flawed release, as well as it often being seen worn by members of Drain Gang, the Castle Hoodie quickly became a highly valued piece of Drain Gang merchandise on the second hand market.
